The Vortex Binoculars Tripod Adapter Pro is a redesigned tripod adapter from Vortex. The new design is made of a lightweight metal and is still very strong despite the weight of less than 80 grams. The Vortex Binoculars Tripod Adapter Pro comes with the Vortex Binoculars Stud to quickly connect the Tripod Adapter. The binocular Stud also ensures that the binoculars are adjusted to the correct distance.
Application Vortex Binoculars Tripod Adapter Pro
In order to have the best viewing experience it is important to fix the binoculars with the Stud Binoculars in the right way. The correct pupil distance is easy to decide with the following steps:
- Bend the binoculars until they are at their narrowest.
- Move both parts away from each other until it is comfortable to look through the binoculars.
- Then select an object at about 100 metres and slowly move both parts inwards or outwards until one round image is created.
- When an image is now visible without black edges, turn the Vortex Binoculars Stud at the appropriate place and check that you can still look through the binoculars as desired.
In this way you have adjusted the binoculars to the pupil distance of your eyes. Keep in mind that the pupil distance can be different for everyone. Because of this it is possible that someone else sees black edges. In this case the above steps have to be repeated.
When the Binoculars Stud has been adjusted correctly, the Vortex Binoculars Tripod Adapter Pro can easily be pushed over the Binoculars Stud and screwed on from above. After this the binoculars can be attached to a tripod and you are assured of a still image which will give you the best viewing experience.
